  51. Aren't there a couple of CB channels which are allocated for remote
  52. control of models?  They permit some odd modulation schemes... if not
  53. CW, perhaps FSK.

  79. However, I can think of two ways around it:
  80.  
  81.           1. Teach it by saying (or using a voice synthesizer to say)
  82.              'dah di dah di   dah dah di dah'
  83.           2. Transmit the code on ten meters, and do the coaching 
  84.              'that was an A' and discussion on CB (with the advantage
  85.               of duplex operation. If you use MCW, then ANY cheap
  86.              receiver ought to work.

  101. It is a full-function phone patch; the term "controller" is something of a
  102. misnomer; it doesn't "control" anything but itself. It links your
  103. transceiver transmit and receive audio to the phone line, and provides
  104. level setting on both. There are no DTMF functions, and it does not dial
  105. the phone for you (I know of no phone patches that will perform these
  106. functions; you may be confusing patches with modems, which typically do
  107. dial, auto-answer, etc.). In a typical installation, you would have the
  108. patch and a regular phone connected to the same line. You would dial using
  109. the phone, then switch over to the patch when you've reached the party on
  110. the phone and told them what's going on. They could then hold a
  111. conversation with the party on the radio, with you switching manually
  112. between transmit and receive for them. Since you didn't list a callsign,
  113. I'll also point out that there are restrictions on when and where you can
  114. make patches between the US and foreign countries. Only a few have "third
  115. party" agreements with the US permitting patches.

  171. I was having similar problems.  The keps I was getting had the names
  172. of some of the satellites padded with blanks, which was confusing the
  173. program.  Take a look at your elements and see if you are having the
  174. same problem...
